Day 1: Tbilisi – Kutaisi – Svaneti

The tour begins early at 6:00 AM from Liberty Square in Tbilisi, where the group gathers for a full day of exploration.
Breakfast in Kutaisi
Upon reaching Kutaisi, we will enjoy a delightful breakfast at a local café before starting our adventure at 10:00 AM.
Stop 1: Bagrati Cathedral
Our first destination in Kutaisi is the Bagrati Cathedral (Virgin Mary’s Church). Known for its architectural and artistic splendor, this iconic landmark symbolizes the unity of Georgia. It holds a significant place in Georgian history and is an essential stop for those interested in the country’s cultural heritage.
Stop 2: Gelati Monastery
Next, we visit the Gelati Monastery, an architectural masterpiece founded by King David the Builder in 1106. The monastery has served as an educational and spiritual hub throughout Georgian history and is home to stunning frescoes and manuscripts from the 12th to 17th centuries. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it also houses the final resting place of King David the Builder.
Journey to Svaneti
After exploring these remarkable sites in Kutaisi, we will continue our journey to Svaneti, a region renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and ancient traditions. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your accommodations, where you can relax and prepare for the next day’s adventures.
This day combines history, culture, and scenic travel, offering an unforgettable introduction to Georgia’s rich heritage.
Day 2: Exploring Svaneti: A Journey into Georgia’s Most Picturesque Region
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, our staff will be waiting nearby to pick you up and begin an unforgettable adventure through Svaneti.

Svaneti is undoubtedly one of the most stunning regions in Georgia, renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and historical significance. This enchanting land, with its towering 4,000 to 5,000-meter-high snow-capped mountains, lush green valleys, majestic glaciers, and untamed rivers, was historically difficult to access, preserving its isolation and unique charm for centuries.
A Distinctive Culture and People
Svaneti is home to the Svans, a Georgian ethnic subgroup known for their resilience and self-sufficient lifestyle. The Svans have their own ancient, unwritten language and have maintained their traditions through generations.
Farming has been the backbone of their livelihoods for thousands of years and continues to be a primary occupation for many families. However, with the rise of tourism, the region is experiencing a new wave of opportunities that supplement traditional ways of living.

DAY 3 : Mestia-Ushguli-Mestia
10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Our staff will be waiting for you near the hotel after breakfast to pick you up and begin the journey to explore the Ushguli.
On this day we have off-road tour to Ushguli – the highest settlement in Europe. We start at 09 a.m. Our first stop is tower of love that represents story of prohibited love. Afterwards we keep off-roading to Ushguli.
We will return to Mestia after exploring Ushghuli and eating lunch at one of the nicest cafés in town.
After that, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
DAY 4 : Mestia-Martvili Canyon-Tbilisi
10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Today we go from the lovely Svaneti (Mestia). But there’s no reason to be sad because our journey continues.
After breakfast, our personnel will meet you near the hotel at 10:00 a.m. to pick you up and continue the travel to the next site.
Martvili Canyon is our next destination.
The visitor Centre of Martvili Canyon is located in the village of Inchkhuri. 700 meters circular hiking trail starts from the visitors’ center and passes through Dadiani’s historic walkway. There are 2 bridges, 3 viewing platforms, and a 30-step historic staircase that is built from a limestone staircase.Here you have the opportunity to take a trip by boat, to 300 meters (one-way) section of Abasha and enjoy the beautiful views of the canyon. Here you have a great chance to enjoy diving and explore beautiful places under the water. Canyon welcomes visitors during weekend as well, thus put hiking clothes into the backpack and enjoy the vacations in Western Georgia.
After viewing Martvili Canyon, we will have lunch at one of Kutaisi’s greatest restaurants. After lunch, we will drive to the outskirts of Tbilisi and drop you off at your accommodation.
